When do I need to sign up?

You may reserve your membership for next season during or after the current season. We encourage signing up as soon as possible, so that we can plan accurately for the coming season. Early payments allow us the capital to purchase seeds, soil, and equipment, and make improvements during our slow winter season.

Or you may sign up any time for a three-season sustaining membership.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, simply fill out a membership form (from our brochure or our website) and mail it, along with your payment, to:

Boistfort Valley Farm
PO Box 130
Curtis, WA 98538

Or you may sign up right on our website. Use the paypal buttons on the right to make your secure credit card payment. Please be sure to include your address, phone number, and choice of drop site!

What if I go on vacation?

We will credit your account ($25 per delivery) for up to two deliveries missed during the season. Please note:

  1. You must contact us at least one week prior to when you will not pick up your produce.
  2. The credit on your account is good for the current season only. This also includes the winter deliveries in November and December.
  3. You are responsible for using your credit. We will confirm your credit when you notify us of your absence, but will not send reminders after the initial confirmation.

If you will be absent for four or more deliveries in a row, please let us know in advance (ideally before the season begins) and we will suspend your deliveries. You will not be responsible for payment if you arrange for a four week or longer absence prior to the beginning of the delivery season.

Why do we only offer credit for missed deliveries?

  1. We have to plan and plant for a certain number of members for the whole season, regardless of whether everyone picks up each week.
  2. We try to encourage our members to share their deliveries with a friend or neighbor -- it's one of our best forms of advertising. In fact, if you arrange for someone to pick up your delivery the week you will be gone, we will deliver your produce as usual AND offer you a credit.*

* To receive this credit, please contact us at least one week in advance and provide contact information for the person who is picking up on your behalf.

What is a Sustaining Membership?

A Sustaining Membership is a three year subscription to our farm, paid in advance. This membership offers you a fixed rate, so that you will not pay any additional costs over those three seasons. We offer this subscription to help us make improvements to the farm, such as purchasing additional equipment and building or repairing farm structures.

To set up your Sustaining Membership, fill up our printable sign up page and mail it in along with your payment.
